Re-use of Proceedings Articles
Publishing RADEN INTAN: Proceedings on Family and Humanity understands that conference papers published in these Conference Proceedings are often summaries of ongoing research. In addition, we understand that some proceedings manuscripts may be subsequently updated, or refined, for publication as regular journal articles, including submission to journals not published by Publishing RADEN INTAN: Proceedings on Family and Humanity. We do not object if any author wishes to reuse material from the manuscript of the RADEN INTAN Conference Proceedings: Proceedings on Family and Humanity, provided that such reuse is in accordance with professional scientific publishing standards and ethics.
Journal manuscripts derived from previously published work in RADEN INTAN: Proceedings on Family and Humanity should contain a significant amount of new or previously unpublished research results. The publication RADEN INTAN: Proceedings on Family and Humanity does not publish articles that are similar to manuscripts published in the Conference Proceedings of RADEN INTAN: Proceedings on Family and Humanity; such double publication, whether accidental or intentional, could be detrimental to the author's publication record or history. Individual journals will decide whether reuse of a proceedings manuscript by an author is fair and reasonable, or whether there is sufficient additional material to warrant a new publication.
To enable journal editors and referees to make informed decisions, authors who reuse content from their RADEN INTAN Conference Proceedings: Proceedings on Family and Humanity should provide a copy of the proceedings article to their chosen journal. Do so when first submitting the manuscript and include a clear statement describing the material reproduced from the Proceedings manuscript. In addition, authors are responsible for notifying all co-authors of the proceedings manuscript when you submit a manuscript based on an original Proceedings article to any journal. Authors who take a journal article from their Proceedings manuscript must include a citation to their Proceedings manuscript, whether the manuscript has been published or will be published in the Proceedings volume of the RADEN INTAN Conference: Proceedings on Family and Humanity. Such citations demonstrate compliance with this policy and promote openness and disclosure.
