Digital Transformation of Educational Management: Accelerating Students' Digital Literacy Through Educational Technology

Abstract

Increasing digital literacy among students is a must because it cannot be denied that the role of technology in the transformation of education is very important. Digital transformation in education management offers great opportunities to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of education. The purpose of this research is to find out the importance of digital transformation in education management so that it offers great opportunities to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of education. and by being principled on the foundations of Islamic education such as: the principle of tawhid, the principle of integration, the principle of balance, and the principle of lifelong education. Digital transformation of education management: accelerating students' digital literacy through education technology is expected to have a significant positive impact on improving students' digital literacy. That way, they will be better prepared to face global challenges, engage in a technology-based society, and contribute positively to the advancement of education in this digital era. The method of this research combines qualitative methods or library research methods. The result of this research is that the digital transformation of education management is a reconstruction of changes in the education system starting from the paradigm of society itself to the internal part of the educational institutional system. The pattern of education transformation refers to the principle of improving process quality and product quality. Digital transformation of education management as an acceleration of students' digital literacy through education technology plays an important role in improving human quality in addition to emphasizing the development of piety and social morals, with the digital transformation of education management also strengthening and advancing science and technology. Thus, the big agenda of digital transformation of education management needs to be normatively oriented towards idealistic, sociological, cultural, psychological, and scientific foundations.
